Ok
I will go and find the data on maltose and dextrose.
There will be a tiny amount of fructose in the maltose but belive it to be in the region of micrograms per kilo of maltose.
- This won't be such an issue because it will have been broken down in the brewing process
Dextrose
While i can find no information on the manifacture proceas to make Dextrose sudfice to say those HFI who were mainlineing on glucose and dieing as a result of the Fructose contamination all reported recovery once thwy swapped from Glucose to Dextose.
So even before the brewing process which converts the sugar into alcohol the level of fructose per volume of beer will be tiny.
- The point I was trying to make is you are slamming Dextrose in every post you make these days, then in the same breath posting a recipe that uses it. Ok again, it will be brewed so looking at an end product of it but if it is so contaminated why are you risking using it in your beer recipe, it is double standards......
With regards to my liver.
Even before I went 100% HFO safe with my diet my liver has never shown that it is stressed in any way.
My liver is checked everytime i have a blood test (approximatle once a year)
You can be assured that if there are any changes that are detrimental i will stop drinking the very odd beer i consume.
I will also poat a warning on this forum as well.
- Glad your liver is OK, but others on here, do they have healthy enough livers to cope if they copy your recipe, you are giving advise for others to follow by posting this recipe, do you take responsibility if they bugger their livers more as they have not followed your pure life to avoid liver damage.
But here you answer the point I was hoping you would:
You Charlie and Tammy are able to have a glass or bottle of red wine of a glass og coke if you want one.
- Yes, we can, and you choose to try and emulate that possibility by copying a recipe for beer as safely as you know how using DEXTROSE, so all others are trying to do for their children is emulate as close as possible what other kids can have at the blink of an eye. These kids are growing up in the modern era that yes, very sadly is very focused on sweet things, I see it on the CSID facebook page, everybody wants cake and sweet recipes. You grew up when things like that were a very rare treat, Even me, I'm not too far behind you , we didn't have sweets and puddings every day like they do now. It isn't a good way for the world to be going and people are realising that but people still have the right to choose to treat their kids if they can and by looking for the safest alternatives is the best way forward. You go ahead and brew your beer, and you enjoy drinking it but allow others their safe sweets. Megan often wants what she can't have, you find the safest treat, she tries it once then doesn't want it again anyway.
Having the odd beer is not a problem to anyone with or witout HFI so long as its with in reason.
- and the same goes for responsible use of safe sweet options
I do not see a problem with informing people who have very limited recreational choices of drinks how to make themselves HFI SAFE beverage.
- and we do not see a problem with informing people of the safest options using glucose, and must be permitted to do so freely. I know you have read about contamination but it is still the safest option to satisfy a childs curiosity and keep them safe.
