Today, on reddit, somebody made the front page with a comment about being allergic to fructose. I responded pretty deep in the thread trying to explain the condition and how he more likely had malabsorption. I really don't typically get a lot of responses on reddit. Maybe 1-2 people. This time it blew up with questions and comments. The best part I knew I'd eventually find someone on reddit that had HFI (and I wouldn't be surprised if it was one of you guys), but today it finally happened. Of course, if it was one of you guys, then clearly you would know it was me as I use the same handle there as I do here (I am unoriginal and uninspired). Another person sent me a private message to ask more about testing and how to go about figuring out an intolerance. Although it is unlikely that they have HFI, I was glad to help. Anyway, spreading the word a bit more here and there. Here's the link if you'd like to read the reddit thread: www.reddit.com/r/AdviceAnimals/comments/1zj8gm/it_is_in_everything/cfu9291?context=3In other news, I made an absolutely horrid casserole the other day. I'm more disappointed that I wasted all those ingredients on something that tasted so awful.
