We are traveling to Ireland in the fall and I'm trying to identify places where we can go out to eat. We'll primarily be in County Kerry, Cork, and Waterford. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Great you will have a wonderful time. I know rha area quite well and know you are gking to be blown away by the place. Food wise you should be very safe. Almost all the bread is safe (white bread is 100% safe) Eating out is easy most pubs (bars) serve excellent food. So long as you keep reasonable simple you will be fine. Fried fish, chips (fries) steaks poached fish ckicken all are safe. They do not ever brine any of their meats! You will find food there so much safer than in the USA you will not beoive it. Your bigest problem is not trying things just because they are so unsafe in the USA Really enjoy your trip and remember almost all the food is fresh cooked from original ingredients so do not be afraid to ask and tell them no leaks (a type of onion which is very sweet) or sugar etc and they can tell you what is very safe to eat and can make food to suit. I would eat a burger (not in Mac D's ) in any pub even the bread will be safe and very tasty, I cannot eat them in pubs etc in the UK because tyese days sugar is now put in burger buns.. because people expect it now (haveing eaten in MacD's and mistaking that for food. Just ask them to hold the relish and tomato and you will be fine. Enjoy!
