Just to give you a meal deal............... Photo0844 by Charliemeg, on Flickr I will post the recipe for flatbreads separately but I can't believe I have never tried these before as they were great. Beef sandwich: Get a really thin beef steak or bash out a thicker one, or use some slices of roast beef. If using steak fry to desired state ie, rare, medium or well done. Take two flatbreads freshly baked so they are still warm and make a sandwich using your beef and some hollandaise sauce. Herb roasted potatoes: or use chips or equivalent potato fry These will take longer so prepare earlier. Preheat oven to 220C/ Gas 7 / 425F. Peel and boil potatoes, while simmering for 5 minutes heat some goose fat or oil in a tray with some chopped mixed herbs ( about 2 teaspoonfulls). When sizzling hot drain the potatoes and carefully put into the fat, coating each potato. Roast for about 40 minutes, you may want to recoat or turn potatoes half way through. Serve with your sandwich, I have added fried mushrooms in the picture but this depends on tolerance.
