Hi everyone,
Does anyone know if rice milk is ok? I'm not agreeing with cow/goat milk at the moment. I may be able to tolerate this better when things have settled down, but wondered if there's an alternative i can try for now.
I bought some rice milk to try (no added sugar)... ingredients were just water, rice and sunflower oil, but it tasted really sweet to me...
Kx

Hi Kate,
the problem with rice milk is it is made from brown rice usually therefore is going to have a higher concentrate of fructose than anything made from white rice.
Maybe try the lactofree milk that Arla make, Meg does very well on that (even though they say she is not lactose intolerant she seemed better whilst on it.) We can get it in most of the supermarkets here esp Tesco and Waitrose. They also do cream, hard and soft cheese.

Hi, I spoke to my naturopath yesterday as i saw it on the shelf and asked him about it, he said it was probably best to stay away from it and it would be sweet
