I am hoping this bumps the thread to the top! Is anyone eating these daily with no ill effects? Ingredients: whole grain oat,,whole grain barley, wheat starch, malted barley extract, sea salt, calcium carbonate, oats, malted barley, vitamin e. I am guessing it won't work for us as Wyatt seems to get hypo after malted barley when consumed regularly, and the word extract scares me (ie what did they extract and why). If people are eating daily with no ill effects I might consider a trial. Thanks!

I switched for a few weeks to Cascadian Farms Purely O's and didn't notice any severe reaction. It's the same type of reaction I get from eating shredded wheat (hungry two hours after eating breakfast). The malted bits make me suspicious as well but it seems as safe as shredded wheat. It's actually quite yummy and a welcome alternative to messy big-biscuit shredded wheat. I would say it is worth a trial. The only huge issue for me is that it's so expensive and such a tiny box.

I will look for them in the store and give them a try. I assume they taste like the old cherrios?

I buy these alot and while Ryan doesn’t eat a bowl for breakfast, he eats them as a snack. I don’t notice anything out of the ordinary after he eats them. I will check the ingredients again next time I am at the store.
