Gillianne's 3 yo brother, Aiden, doesn't tolerate fruits very well. He is fine with apples, bananas, raisins but citrus fruits like oranges, pineapple, tomatoes, mangos really bother his stomach and skin. Our Biochemical Genetics Dr believes Aiden may be a symptomatic carrier. He said, while everyone says it isn't possible he see's it all the time.
Has anyone else seen this? He doesn't believe Aiden has HFI though because he said it's the same mutation so we wouldn't see varying degrees.
Side Note: Kristen, love the siggy idea and photo so I copied you, Thanks!

Chelsea,
I had not heard the symptomatic carrier thing before. My grandmother, sister, and I all have issues with Strawberries and Tomatoes. We brakeout when we eat fresh stuff. We can have tomatoes in sauces and strawberries if they are frozen. Never considered they may be tied to Zander's Fructose stuff. Nancy
