Hello,
I am Susan from The Neatherlands.
I was thinking, I like to go with Lotte she is 2 1/2 years old. To a doctor in Engeland. I’m asking permission from the health insurance here in The Neatherlands. I am especially interested in the extensive dna testing for HFI. And I am looking for a doctor who specializes in HFI, preferably a pediatrician. Where I can do my story about all her problems. Whit someone who knows what he is talking about. Can you help me to find a good doctor?

Hi Susan, welcome to the board. Ummm, good luck with the English Doctor. There are various metabolic specialists around with the childrens hospital but not had much luck so far. Here is a link to labs around the world that do the gene test though, www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/GeneTests/lab/clinical_disease_id/2832you may be able to get your doctor to draw the blood and send it off to one of them. We sent ours to Addenbrookes hospital. There is a specialist there who specialises in these things and I emailed him Megs history recently but he isn't paediatric so although he can offer advise he can't see her sadly.
