Hello all, I think some may find this interesting... Perhaps this is overlooked as a potential HFI alternative that also links fructose issues with metabolic concerns and/or other curious medical side issues. mm sounds a bit like some of the delayed reactions people are reporting when diagnosed. Also a lot more frequently occurring than HFI, It is also possible of course to have both!

This is possibly a very important site about sucrose-isomaltose intolerance for those who do not have a definitive diagnosis of HFI. I noticed on this site that Dr. Tolan was one of the physicians listed around the country. I'm guessing then that he tests for many different sugars besides fructose. Is that correct? Does he ever run many different sugar analysis/tests to find out which sugar or sugars are the offenders. It looks like there's some overlap between various disorders of sugar metabolism.

I agree tummyache and have said this before, surely it would make sense when having the gene test to check for all sugar related genetic mutations in one.
