My doctor has given me a script to have my the DNA test at Dr. Tolan's lab. I however have not found anywhere to have my blood taken and sent to Dr. Tolan's lab.
To the people who have had this test, who did you have take your blood and send it in?
My doctor does not do any blood draws, he uses Labcorp for all his normal tests. They will not do it.

I first went ot Hunter Labs and they were willing to draw the blood and then let me send it to Tolan, but they did not take my MediCal insurance, so they referred me to Quest Diagnostics and they drew my blood but refused to give it back to me to send myself. So, I left it in their hands and it arrived at Tolan's in good condition, though it was kept overnight under refridgeration before being sent. My insurance covered the whole process.

Denverjay--
I forgot to say that my doctor did have to write up an order for the blood test. He copied the info off of Tolan's website with the instructions on how to do it and then put his letterhead at the top. This was sufficient for the lab. So, maybe you could ask your doctor to do something similar??
