Unfortunately this is a popular misconception that vegetables don't have fructose, we were told this originally by the doctors with Megs, until they realised she was really reacting. The best mistakes are bananas and tomatoes.

Charlie, bananas even TASTE sweet and are considered a fruit. WTH Doctors?? Tikitavi, what's funny is that they reference the HFI Boston Lab--Dr. Tolan's site--which has horribly out-of-date information. Asparagus made me crazy sick two years ago. Have you tried contacting them about the article? I'm looking into it right now. EDIT: Even after signing up for a membership at eHow, I couldn't find a way to comment on the article or get in touch with the author. So I googled her and found her twitter feed and sent her a comment that the whole of twitter can read. I'm a little annoyed at Twitter. I would have liked to have sounded slightly less rude, but I only had so many characters I could use. EDIT #2: Got a response from Twitter. She says she doesn't recall writing an article about HF for eHow. I sent her the link. EDIT #3: Awesome-sauce! Got an update from the author. She has notified the editors and are updating the article! Yay! Twitter has a real purpose!

The biggest site I have found for miss information is the Livestrong site just about every mention about HFI is wrong! I have sent them many complaints, apparently they are now disclaiming all responsibility because they claim the content of their own site is handled by a different company! GET REAL! Now I have to chase up a new company and start all over again listing individual errors and downright dangerous information. Livestrong have forwarded the company name but no contact information.. Gee thanks for nothing! Real Customer service.. "have a nice day"
