Does anyone know of a good calcium supplement with D that doesn't cause terrible constipation? I just found out that my Vitamin D and calcium are very low due to the fructose intolerance. So far Citracal, Caltrate etc. have caused more problems than good. I am hoping to find something that will work so I don’t have to start the drugs for Osteoporosis (I am in my 30’s).
Also, the Adult form of the SuperNutrition vitamin mentioned on another thread looks like it contains fructose [Acerola (Berries) and wild yam]. Does anyone have any other vitamin ideas? Thank you.

How much sucralose would be in one capsule? Way too much for Regina. Even just every other day.
Regina also has problems with not enough calcium, and she drinks about 1 1/2 qts of milk a day. Every day.
So she now takes calcium in an antacid tab. Care One, Giant Supermarkets private label brand, is safe in both peppermint and spearmint SF flavors. If you don't have a Giant in your area, try your local supermarket brands. Whatever company makes Giants, also makes for others as well.

Hi Colleayn, I'm not sure about Vitamin D supplements, but here in Canada all dairy products sold need to be fortified with Vitamin D. If the same is true where you are could you increase your intake of dairy to boost your calcium and vitamin D in one shot? If not, I used to take this multi-vitamin: www.jamiesonvitamins.com/en/products/prodvitamins_011.aspx with no adverse effects. It has 400 IUs of Vitamin D and 150 mg of Calcium, I'm not sure what quantities you are looking for though.
