How do folks tolerate pickles? Any safe brands (in the US)?

Steer clear of Vlasic.
I do okay with Mt. Olive or even the store brand. Just read the ingredients and look for the pickles that look like they've been boiled and brined the LONGEST. Pickles that look more like cucumbers contain more fructose.
