Tried to search for this topic, but the search preferences doesn't like words less than 4 characters long. I was at my local co-op grocery (buying tea) and spotted some unusual gum at the register. Well, everything is unusual in this store, but I was excited by the product name: XyliChew. I've been looking forever for a gum that is only flavored with xylitol. It's 100% Xylitol and comes in several flavors including: black licorice, peppermint, spearmint, and cinnamon. I bought four packs of the above flavors. Ingredients include: Xylitol, gum base, natural flavor*, gum arabic, lecithin, glycerine, beeswax, carnaubawax. I'm not sure if you can buy it online anywhere, but here's the company's website: www.tundratrading.com/*I presume the natural flavor to be black licorice, peppermint, spearmint, cinnamon, etc.

ALSO, just noticed the same company has an xylitol-based toothpaste with fluoride, for those of you who were looking for a hfi-safe toothpaste.

It's fabulous. I bought four more packs the other day. I love licorice and cinnamon. I think the only type I haven't tried is fruit (for obvious reasons). It's also available on Amazon if anyone's interested. I've been paying 2.50 a pack (of 12--which I use two at a time because they tend to shrink like Chiclets). I think they're a little cheaper online.

I found the gum in amazon.com. It´s great for my son, he is 4, and he was always asking for gum.

LOL, I just tried to buy the gum on Amazon. I was okay with spending $6 + shipping--that was until I found out that the shipping was $12. Of course this was for the Spry gum (which is also sugar free) instead of XyliChew. So maybe the shipping for XyliChew would be a little less.
