I'm not real sure what brown rice syrup is, but my first guess is no.
I'm basing my guess on the fact that only white rice is ok, and brown is not. Is it actually made from brown rice? The brown part, or the bran of the rice is what contains the fructose. So if that is included in the syrup, I would think it follows that it wouldn't be a good thing to try.
Does anyone else know any facts about what it is made from?

I am pretty sure it is just fructose. Another way to put it in so called helth foods.
I gave some rice milk to the food bank last week only because of that one thing, it had brown rice syrup in it.
