Are there vision or eye issues that may be associated with HFI?, or specific things an opthamologist may need to look for?

The only thing I've read about vision issues is in reference to sorbitol...apparently it's been linked to some degenerate eye issues, like those experienced by people with diabetes. I would think that with sorbitol not being filtered properly that it could be more damaging to people with an intolerance to it....but that's a big guess.

I've questioned this myself since Regina has very poor eyesight. And the only thing they have ever said was, "Well, since diabetics have trouble with their eyes, I guess anything's possible".
I've never heard of anyone else having trouble.
