Thanks - I will pick up some liver to add to the weekly mix. Back to the old country organ meat and bone broth remedy to health 😊. I grew up harvesting all kinds of fruits and veggies in autumn and miss it so much this time of year.
Right now I am making my own capsules with the the Nano VM and size 2 gelatin caps - the daily dosage is a lot of capsules so she does not get the recommended amount. I also make vitamin c capsules using Now brand vitamin C powder. I am planning on asking our doc about just cutting a Nature Made multi vitamin in half when we go to our appointment at end of month. Will let you know.
At some point, I read an article about lemon peels having little sugars and high density vitamins, especially vitamin c. I have been looking for that sugar content breakdown in the peels again now that I understand this HFI a little more and have not been able to find. Has anyone else ran across this information ? (And know the link to reference) 😊

I was just watching a TV show (Fear the Walking Dead, of all things!) where the protagonist was turning powder into pill form. I presume this is something a pharmacist could do? Maybe check at your local pharmacy to see if the pharmacist can turn that powder mix into pill form somehow (either via compression or gel capsule).

spot on exactly what he needs I still love beef tea basically its beef boiled in water for ages until its white and anemic.. the water has gone a lovely dark tea colour.. a little salt and pepper and its a wonderful vitamin and mineral rich tea to drink on a cold day. You can buy vitamin C in its chemical form (ascorbic acid) from any brewing shop I cannot take sauerkraut at all.. far too sweet for me .. lemons are fine when I've a cold I pour boiling water on sliced lemons and ginger and drink it when warm or cold. Hope this helps.
Regards Bill A.

Oh man, I can't handle ginger at all. Maybe in the powdered form it's okay, but fresh ginger has wayyy too much fructose. I've also got a bit of a knee-jerk reaction from lemons now, too. I overdid it on lemon juice trying to help my gallbladder (it was beyond help) and ended up praying to the porcelain god. I think I put 3 TBSP of lemon juice in a tall glass of water--couldn't even drink half of it. On the other hand, purged lemon juice tastes really quite like the most flavorful as vomit. If you gotta vomit, lemon juice is the way to do it.
A slice of lemon might be okay, but please note it is very easy to over-do-it on lemons.
