urmensch! You made me so happy! I absolutely have no brain for biology or biochemistry--I love earth sciences and astrophysics, but I must have had the worst teachers for biology and chemistry in high school. I get ridiculously excited when people with HFI (or similar conditions) study a field that would directly benefit their condition. As for Bill, sometimes he rubs people the wrong way. I think the rest of us Gods on this forum have learned to parse what we believe and consider what we don't believe out of Bill's words, but new members don't know him well enough to appreciate his way of thinking. That being said, I will never ever eat organ meat no matter HOW many times he encourages it.
