I KNOW I am just starting this journey, but I want to thank all of the people on this board, especially does who I frequently email, because we would n´t be were we are , if it was n´t for you. I want to share what he eats, just in case any mother needs it. he eats: chicken chicken liver turkey pasta potatoes spinach plain yoghurt avocados ** we only seasoned this with salt. for now. enfamil premium lipil- is his milk Next week we will be introducing cheese with pasta. hope that goes well too.

Thats fabulous news Claudia, so glad you have turned a corner with your lovely little chap. It is amazing, once you see results your confidence to cope with this diet will grow.
Just one thing, care with avocados, they are on our ok list but I know some (including Meg) can't cope with it.
Keep growing and smiling Carlitos

Glad he's doing well. The chicken Liver is important as it provides him with lots of vitamins and minerals. Lambs, Ox and Pigs liver is good too and might be higher in iron than chicken liver. If you are not happy handling and cooking it then perhaps get a good local butcher to make you some ground beef from some nice beef steak and add some to the beef so when you get it it is all nice and mixed in with the beef .. then you can make him meat balls, burgers, and HFI safe pasta dishes (which normally have lots of tomato's onions and peppers, just miss them out and add a dash of Soy sauce).. along with all sorts of other dishes. The same go's for Lamb, if you have some lean lamb minced with say 1/4 lambs liver you can make Shepherd's pie (without the root veggies and peas). The Liver will be invisible but still providing nutrients. Also if he's good on Chicken and turkey then move him onto pork as well it tastes very close to white poultry and it will expand the flavours he knows are safe. So happy to hear he is doing well and please give him a big hug from me
