I can tell, because you're all oh-so-quiet.
I went on a week-long vacation and somebody threw out my last Hebrew National Hot Dog. I think if they knew one hot dog cost $1 they wouldn't have thrown it out. I made sure to take a stash of bread, butter, pasta, and hotdogs. I think my mom accidentally took my pixie stix. Hopefully they eat all the blue ones and save all the orange, red, and purple ones for me!
It was a week of ups & downs. One day I feel YAY! Next day I feel UGH. Next day I feel meh. Then I feel YAY! again.
I spent a week on Lake Erie and took the boat over to Put-in Bay (near Pelee Island). Had some breaded clams in Put-in Bay and learned that breaded clams tend to have sugar in the breading.
My lovely brother-in-law went out of his way to plan a dinner that I could eat. He made this super-yummy garlic, butter, parmesan, oil pasta that EVERYONE loved. I even had to make it when I got back.
Thankfully I was armed with monster pixie stix so I didn't get REALLY sick. I did manage to buy a Cabernet Sovenjoun (I'm butchering that second word, but I'm too lazy to look up the proper spelling). The lady at the winery tried to warn me that it was "REALLY DRY", I waved her off saying that was okay. "I can't do anything even remotely sweet." I have yet to try it... >_> It mocks me as I slowly peel back the seal.
I was very happy, on my last evening, to discover that the local pizza place had a pesto pasta. You don't see that too often in the midwest farm towns. Of course, it was delicious.
